The Quad Cities Disc Golf Club
Minutes- June 27th 2007

The meeting was called to order by John Resch with 9 members present. A Quorum was met.

Committee Reports:
Merchandise: Dan reported that $43 of merchandise was sold for the month of June. Hy-Vee paid for their order, which was approximately $1000. Two sponsorships for holes at Bettendorf have been purchased. Dan suggested that the QCDGC should sponsor a hole to get publicity for the club. Club shirts will be in with in the week for distribution. Dan suggested that the QCDGC should make shirts available to members of the Handicapped league at cost. Iron Lion only has 14 club discs left in stock.

Leagues: Handicapped League organizers suggested CTPs and bag tags, and possibly a trophy to make it more competitive like the Bushwackers league.

Memberships: There were 4 new members since last meeting and 2 renewals.

Treasury: The club’s current balance is $3,588.55. Still trying to locate our Tax ID# for non for profit status. John also suggested that a checking account should be opened with the Treasurer’s name on it. There needs to be an additional name, some ideas were John Resch, Travis Wilson, RonRazz, and Tim Miller. Nominations for a new treasurer were Travis Wilson and Dave Arrango.

Tourny: Iron Man has been set for September 1st played at Eastern, Middle, Devils Glen, and Longview parks. Aug 18th- will no longer be the Argus, but a one day event sponsored by ILDGS, B-tier. It was suggested by Chase that the club should take the 19th, and run a doubles event at Devils Glen, possibly a C-tier. John was curious if the club is still interested in writing a bid for combined worlds?

Courses: Trying to schedule a work day at Eagle Park during the work week to accommodate more members. Dewitt now has signs, and there will be an even there July 7th.

There being no new business, the meeting was concluded at 8:30 PM.
